Statement of Joseph Anthony Camp

I, Joseph Anthony Camp, make this statement because I am afraid for my safety.

On or about August 30, 2026, Danesh Noshirvan (known online as @ThatDaneshGuy) publicly named me, identified me by appearance, race, associated me with the label “documented child predator,” and stated that I live in Bogotá, Colombia, and he included a reference to Princesa, my 2 year old puppy. He told listeners that people in Bogotá should be aware of me, look me up, and “look for him.” He also said he would never lose track of where I am or what I am doing, that I am lucky we are not in the same country, and that he hopes “something horrible happens” to me while repeating that my existence is a danger and that people should be careful.

I do not accept that this speech was only commentary or hyperbole. He named a specific person (me), a specific city, and a physical description and race, then used language about danger, tracking, and hoping something horrible happens to me. That combination makes me fear that someone who hears him will be incited to violence and treat me as a target, which is his intent.

This is not the first time I have been publicly identified in connection with him across countries, including Belize, Mexico, Costa Rica, the United States and now Colombia. After prior statements, I have changed how I live. I have installed cameras, hired personal security, and moved residence and even countries after people tried to physically harm me following his posts. Those steps were taken because the risk was real, and will now be tightened in the aftermath of todays statements, yet again.

I have already presented my position and exhibits to authorities in Colombia and the Colombian courts. Those materials did not authorize continued public targeting. Quite the opposite, they prohibited this exact language, violent incitement and defamatory content about me. The latest broadcast continues a pattern of naming me, locating me, and describing me in terms that invite hostility and "crazy people in Bogota" to murder me.

I am asking that this conduct stop. I want to live without being named, located, and framed as someone the public should hunt down after being told I am a danger to children. I will immediately request that any court, platform, or law-enforcement body that reviews this matter treat the combination of naming, location, and hope-that-harm-occurs language as a threat to my safety.
